Sarah and Christopher first met during college at the Society of Physics Students community room, one of the few places on campus with a microwave. Her brother, Sameer, had brought her along for lunch, where she met Christopher, a regular in the room. What began as casual conversations over shared meals turned into regular meetups filled with masala, math, and deep conversations.
Although Christopher had planned to move for a government position after graduating in 2023, a new opportunity nearby allowed him to stay. Over the summer, he and Sarah continued to spend time together, often cooking for each other’s families, trading recipes, and encouraging one another through the ups and downs of school and work. Away from the rush of campus life, their friendship grew stronger through long conversations, shared goals, and a deepening sense of connection.
What started in a cozy campus corner became a partnership built on respect, curiosity, and laughter, and led to their marriage in 2025.
